Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar continues their partnership with Rappahannock Oyster Co. on another proprietary oyster. The Crackerjax is farmed at the mouth of the York River, a mere 28 miles from the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic ocean. This proximity to the sea delivers a far greater "bite" of salt than their previous house oyster, while retaining a touch of sweetness due to the freshwater beginnings in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
